These three bedroom beach cottages are located at Kigombe by Capricorn Beach Cottages. It is a family owned and operated business located on a quiet stretch of beach along the coast, at Kigombe, app. 30 km south of Tanga and 19 km north of Pangani. The plot measures app. 6 acres and has 185 metres of beachfront. Capricorn consists of three private cottages in a mature garden setting with incredible trees. All have fully equipped kitchens, ensuite bathrooms, patio and verandah. A boutique where local tailors work on site with a vibrant array of East African khanga, kikoy, kitenge, hand woven cottons and other natural fabrics, creating unique clothes with a coastal African flavour, is also part of the setting. The business also includes a grocery store and deli – serving self-catering guests and other visitors staying in the area with vegetables, fish, seafood, sundries, beverages etc. There is also a Garden Café – opened in 2010 – which seats app. 40 people. The café serves pizzas from a wood fired owen together with beer, wine, other beverages and coffee. The café has become a popular meeting point for people living in the area. This is an amazing place – with tons of character – that still holds lots of potential for further expansion and development!
